The Toronto Charcoal BBQ is supplied ready to assemble and has great features such as a lid, folding side table and trolley. A solid Barbecue with a built in temperature gauge and Beer Bottle opener for the chef!
Having a height adjustable charcoal grate, using the crank handle on the front - allows you to further control the temperature for grilling, in addition to using the lid. Another nice feature, which any keen barbecue enthusiast will appreciate, is the ability to add more coal or wood chips from the front without having to interrupt cooking. This neat door makes topping up easy and hassle free when slow cooking meat for long periods of time.
Perfect in many ways, this charcoal BBQ will provide great service for many years.
The capacity should be enough for 2.7 kg of charcoal briquettes or 1.35 kg of charcoal, which is sufficient for a burn time of around two hours. The fire pan itself measures 60.9 x 45.7 inches.

10 November 2020 by: Nigel SampsonTook me 2 hours to put together but overall impressed with the quality of this product. The packaging - which was clearly intended to protect the product during transit, gave a good impression. My only issue was the thread on the handle for the door through which to access the charcoal tray. It was bent and distorted making it difficult to get the nut on. With persistence and a file to shape the spindle I did manage to overcome this. The rest was plain sailing. I have done the pre-burn, very promising .very pleased.

When its put together its heavier than most bbq because it's made with solid parts for lots of years use. Also bought the cover you can get with it and it's a good fit and come in handy if your leaving it out in the British weather.

Good amount of cooking space and the crank handle to adjust the height of the coals if fantastic. Lots of comments and likes from friends.

Fantastic cooking once it gets going. It arrived with a few dents so I phoned customer services and they resolved immediately. A very well coordinated team who really care about the customer. 5 stars

Getting the initial square correct takes some time. It would be helpful if the instruction manual had larger assembly drawings so the detail fixing is easier to see. Had to redrill the hole for the burner assembly mounting. The claim that it can be assembled in 30 minutes is nonsense ! Took me about 2- 3 hours Generally the product quality is very good and is price competitive.. Now waiting for some bbq weather to try out the cooking. !

If the instructions were better then It would warrant five stars. The service provided in terms of notification and delivery were excellent.
Bit fiddly to assemble
25 February 2019 by: JohnThe assembly time advertised on the box is very optimistic. Instructions are in the form of small drawings, some details hard to work out. Most of the bits click together and there is nothing to keep the firebox "square", so it is when you fit the lid that this becomes obvious. It required a bit of twisting to suit the lid. When all done, it looks the part and is quite sturdy. Its too early in the year to light it, but that shouldnt pose any problems. The service I received from Garden Gift Shop has been excellent.

31 March 2018 by: boboverall a good buy, looks like it says on the tin.there are buts though .... the instruction book piccies are really small unless you have 21/21 vision..so check it on google - there's loads as I think this is really popular bbq - rightly so assembly - duh - absolutely not the 30 mins on the box - plan for a couple of hours. most of it all goes together really well.. then there's the front top-up handle - it works no problem - but it such a good fit with with hardly any spare room to get the nut on it took 2 of us a good 30 mins to get it fixed properly. then there's the grill tray , it was easy once I figured out I had it upside down.!!! - had to go online for more & better piccies to work that one out.No braggin here but I'm usually a dab hand at putting stuff together. slight damage to lid found - a dent at each side at the back , not please but also not significant. sellers service spot on - delivered way before expected ,

I looked around quite a few similar designed ones from different shops and websites. This one is definitely the best one! You pay a little bit more but it's worth it because of the quality! Not many screws, more a push and lock system. Very sturdy and solid. A great height to cook on without having to bend. Looks great and loved cooking on it. A proper mans looking BBQ with a bottle opener too. I would highly recommend this BBQ to anyone and for the price its quality, great Company who I will buy from again!
