Gas Barbecues – Convenient, Reliable & Quick to Heat
Gas barbecues are a modern phenomenon that many families are rushing to be a part of. They are quick to heat, easy to light and require so little fuss – perfect when you’re trying to cook up a storm for a garden party full of hungry guests and trying to keep an eye on the little ones.
Rather than having to dig around the kitchen for a lighter, and spending ages tossing burgers and turning sausages, you can leave your food on the grill to do its thing – safe in the knowledge that your food is cooking evenly throughout and you’re moments away from some tasty treats. Gas barbecues can burn much longer than charcoal barbecues and they are easier to control the temperature so the chef can finally sit down and enjoy that deserved beer without having to worry about the hungry expectations if they burn the meat. The chef can also wipe his brow safe in the knowledge that a gas BBQ is much easier to clean – no hot ashes to remove and sweep, just a quick wipe of the grill and an empty of the drip trays. Convince everyone that paper cups and plates are the way forward and you really will have minimal cleaning after.
How do Gas BBQs work?
Rather than setting light to charcoal or wood chips, underneath the grill on a gas barbecue you will find burners. These burners are controlled by dials, as you would find on a normal cooker. Larger BBQs have multiple burners to deal with the larger capacity although it is possible to get portable gas grills as we understand not everyone needs to feed a large amount of guests. These are ideal for taking camping or to festivals because apart from the size you have the convenience of not having to take lighters and fuel.
