A superb idea and simple to put together, this wooden flip top bench only requires powered screwdriver, spanner and a saw to assemble it. All that is needed to complete the bench is 2x4 timber (which is known as CLS timber in the UK), which is available at all DIY and Builders merchants such as B&Q or Jewsons to make a comfortable and sturdy bench and table of any size up to 8 feet long that will last longer than most benches and look stunning.
The patented slide lock secures your Flip Top Bench Table in seconds without tools, allowing you to convert from a bench to table and back. Additionally the table is converted easily back to a bench for space saving storage.
In terms of wood, only 90° straight cuts are required, there is no need for mitres or angles and you can simply stain, paint or finish the wood to suit your own particular style or just use treated timber.
The Any size 2x4 Basics Wooden Flip Top Table Bench can be used as an outdoor bench and a picnic table. Simply add two together to create a full size picnic table to seat 8 or more adults.
